Man, Gibson Can't Catch a Break!!!

From the total conceptual failure of the Gibson Hendrix signature "Strat", to investigations of use of illegally harvested woods, and reports of unpaid taxes, you'd think that Gibson guitars was due for some good news. Well, if you haven't been following the news, Nashville has been the victim of some serious flooding...and if you didn't know, Gibson's factory is located in Nashville. On May 4th, the Tenessean reported that according to Gibson USA general manager Gary Fader, "Water did get into the factory [and] There will be supply disruption for some amount of time.” Considering the enormous damage to surrounding businesses and the susceptibility of guitars to water damage, the picture isn't looking bright...
