The bad news at Gibson guitars just keeps getting worse. On April 12th the Nashville Post reported that the IRS has posted a lien against the company in the amount of $445,994 for unpaid corporate/payroll taxes dating back to 2006.
Perhaps doing too many endorsement deals did not leave enough cash for tax burden?
They ow government almost half of a million dollars that's a huge amount, I wonder how did they come to this, why on earth their accounting department wasn't paying taxes.
