Gibson Investigated for Illegally Importing Rosewood

The Nashville Post is reporting that production at Gibson's Nashville based plants has been suspended while the company is being investigated for violating the Lacey Act by illegally importing endangered species of Rosewood from Madagascar. Reportedly, federal agents and local police raided the Gibson offices seizing wood samples, guitars, computers, and boxes of files.
